Whether you want to explore the hills by cycle or on foot, or simply chill on the beach, Mallorca has something for everyone:
- Water sports including coasteering, sea kayaking, sailing, kite surfing and diving
- Golf at the beautiful Pollensa 9 hole course or the stunning 18 hole course at Alcanada
- Cycling world famous routes
- Hill walking – the GR221 passes only 2 km away
- Bird Spotting – peregrine and Eleonora’s falcons, black and griffon vultures, Bonelli’s and booted eagles can all be seen above the house
- Wildlife – Hermann’s tortoise, edible dormice, pine martins, hedgehogs, harmless snakes and lizards, and of course the local Balearean goat tribe (remember to shut the gate!)
- Nature & history walks – thanks to two natural springs the Ternelles valley has been home to Bell Beaker people, Phoenicians, Romans, Vandals, Moors, and finally James I of Aragon who granted the valley to the Knights Templar. The area has many historical ruins including the magnificent rock fortress of Castell del Rei
- Plenty of local restaurants and bars
- Sunday market in Pollenca
- The Tramuntana Mountains, UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Cap de Formentor – one of the most stunning routes in Mallorca
